2024 Jeep Wrangler EV Adds Electrified Power and a Plug-In Hybrid Engine
For those who prioritize off-road fun and top-off driving over highway comfort, there’s no better choice than a Jeep. The 2024 jeep wrangler ev continues that tradition, with added electrified power and a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) engine.
The new PHEV engine blends with the Wrangler’s legendary four-wheel drive to deliver an EPA-estimated 370-mile3 combined driving range when properly charged. And the regenerative braking system helps preserve battery charge and distance. Plus, the PHEV is capable of operating in three versatile E-Selec driving modes. EV Mode optimizes the battery and electric motor for pure electric driving, while eSave Mode stores energy for later use and Hybrid Mode delivers the best of both worlds with gas and electric torque.

Whether it’s rock crawling or cruising the beach, the new PHEV’s available sway bar disconnect system lets you enjoy the full off-road capability of the Wrangler. This includes a 4:1 low gear ratio and the rugged Rock-Trac(r) Full-Time 4×4 System with electric front- and rear-axle lockers. And, the optional Power Box allows you to add a second level of charging at your home or office.
Inside, the PHEV’s premium nappa leather seats offer 12-way power-adjustability and premium comfort with lumbar support. They also have been tested and approved to ford water up to 34 inches, so you can still take the Jeep off-road, even if it’s muddy or snowy. Other upgrades include a new infotainment display and more safety features.
